Indeed there has been some time spent in the weight room, but also some time spent on the track and I am always a sucker for a race and toeing a line.
When I reduced intervals to 30 seconds I thought that was enough but shorter we go, ten seconds or less as I was still pacing at 30 seconds and wasn't get the pure speed work I wanted.
Its been quite good working different energy systems and the 1000m times are coming down, maybe we will see a sub three this Friday, too soon? We'll see:-)
