I certainly did not knock it out of the park at the 10000m event a few weeks back but stride felt smooth, just no power or push on toe off due to healing achilles. The next weekend I went out to St Albert for a 3km where things felt stronger and it was nice to see positive progression.
We now have three weeks to prepare for the CALTAF 5000m down in Calgary.
On the training front, I have added 15 seconds downhill strides at the end of each of my short tempo runs and it has been outstanding for stride and cadence.
