The short intervals combined with the short tempo work has been great for strength and stride this past week. The achilles is feeling good and is handling the load. One thing of note, dropping down to one workout per day has left me feeling stronger and with more snap for my main workouts where as before with two workouts per day, the morning run felt laboured due to stiffness and the second run felt sluggish.
Track season gets underway this Friday with the provincial 10000m championships down at Scona Track.
