Wrapping my head around the marathon and stepping back in the ring has been daunting to say the least but at the same time quite exciting.
Training has been going quite well with the longer tempo runs and the extended interval sessions visualizing the marathon distance and effort it takes.
There is certainly a big difference between doing a fast 10km and transferring that over to the marathon. The workouts are quite similar, just longer and then there are the double workout days on my non formal workout days to increase quality milage.
